BDC Business Development Manager

We are currently seeking an experienced, motivated and energetic professional to manage our BDC/Internet Department.  This position will be responsible for managing all aspects of the department including handling internet leads, inbound and outbound phone calls, customer retention and acquisition.  

The ideal candidate has dealership/ automotive experience. They must have a strong understanding of today's technologies, a strong sales aptitude, and a willingness to give excellent customer service. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and strong leadership and motivational skills are essential.

Responsibilities 

  • Communicate effectively with internet customers within established time frames
  • Respond to new leads in a timely manner
  • Assist customers by answering their questions and helping them demo, select and purchase the right vehicle for their needs
  • Knowledgeable of customers service environment
  • Hire, schedule, train, supervise and build an BDC/Internet Staff
  • Responsible for assuring customer satisfaction to highest standards
  • Assist sales staff to manage deals from start to finish
  • Provide Internet sales reports for the management team
  • Attend product and sales training and continuing education on Sales Processes & Products
  • Maintain a sold customer follow-up system that encourages repeat and referral business to contribute to customer satisfaction

 

Job Requirements:

Requirements 

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Automotive BDC? Internet Management experience necessary
  • Excellent computer and organizational skills required
  • Basic knowledge of CRM systems, lead providers and website backend tools preferred
  • Strong phone skills and customer service orientation highly desirable
  • Ability to motivate staff to achieve dealership goals
